Jesus Flipped The Script: Mercy Ministries UK
I have seen a number of these before but this one was shown recently at a Mercy Ministries UK evening. It shows the journey that many of the girls go on from when they arrive at Mercy and where they are and and then where they are at when they leave Mercy to start living their lives.
I know that it I can relate to this, and it touches a place in my heart. I've been there, i was in that broken place before I went to Mercy. I'm not saying Mercy "cured" everything but they helped me realise that I'm not my past, I am not defined by what happened to me, nor was I too far gone to be helped. I learnt to open my heart and allow myself to be loved, be vulnerable and to begin to heal. I allowed myself to believe in dreaming, believe that i was worth more than what my past had taught me, I had a purpose and a reason.
Things since Mercy haven't been easy, far from it and I'm still journeying that journey, i do struggle i do have bad days I do at times forget how much i am worth. But I am still going, I may not be where I want to be but I am FAR from where I once was!

America's Soldiers Singing "Days of Elijah" WOW
I saw this on my Facebook feed, and i kind of just scrolled past it - and then it appeared again. So i clicked onto the link and wow, its pretty powerful stuff. It reminded my about the power of worshipping as a church. Worship can completely change the atmosphere of a place, it can heal and bring joy int painful areas.
this is why i love worshipping, anyone can do it anywhere any-time! It allows the heart to sing and the mind to be free!

Mercy Ministries UK - Make A Way
Well its EDAW14 i just wanted to share this again, i know i have done it before. BUT i just want to remind people that recovery is possible - it's not easy at all but it can be done1 This place helped save my life OK so i'm not perfect ( and i'm glad of that) i still have struggled and bad days but i am a million miles away from where i used to be!
